  • Have lunch with engineering students
  • Talk with Engineering Career Services about career options after graduation

When Are WIE Days?
By appointment only
For those interested in visiting campus during the Fall, we encourage you to come during the University's Orange & Blue Days. The Women in Engineering Program will be holding a lunch for all perspective, female engineers and their parents on each of the Orange & Blue Day events in order to give them the opportunity to meet current Engineering students and faculty. You can sign up for a WIE Day or Orange & Blue luncheon below.

Field Trips
WIE Days are also wonderful opportunities for high schools to expose talented female students to engineering studies. School field trips are welcome to take part in WIE Days, with the following conditions:

  • WIE Days will accept up to 12 female junior or senior students for an overnight visit; up to 16 for a day visit.
  • Participating high schools are responsible for supplying one adult chaperone for every four students attending WIE Days.
  • High school field trip coordinator must contact WIE at least one month in advance to schedule visit.
  • WIE requires each school interested in scheduling a field trip visit to supply the following information: a contact name of the person coordinating the field trip for the school, a phone number, an email address, and the best times for us to reach you. The number of overall students attending, plus a breakdown of the number of junior and seniors will be needed when scheduling a visit.
