How do I know if Engineering is for me?
Engineers like identifying problems and figuring out solutions. An
interesting problem becomes a fun puzzle for an engineer – with
problem, goals and limitations in mind, engineers enjoy coming up
with various solutions, seeing what works, and tweaking what doesn’t.
Engineers notice what people struggle with in their everyday lives
and like to think about how to make life better and easier for people.
Yes, engineers are good at applying math and science, but they’re
also good at listening, defining problems, speaking and writing to
convey ideas, and thinking creatively. If that sounds like fun, engineering
might be for you.
