A variety of study abroad programs are available to give students international experience. Currently, IPENG has programs at universities in Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, Jordan, and Russia, and more are continually being developed in these and other countries. The college works closely with the campus Study Abroad Office on other study abroad programs in countries around the globe. IPENG's membership in a consortium called Global Engineering Education Exchange provides additional overseas locations and fellowships for study abroad.
Overseas work experiences are possible through the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE), the American Scandinavian Foundation (ASF), and through the student organization, AIESEC.
