Typical Day

A typical day would be to wake up at 8:00am, shower, grab books and a water bottle, and head for language class.  I'd park my bike and walk down the block to a bar to get a pastry and a cappuccino, and chat for a few minutes with classmates.  Italian class lasts from 8:50-9:45.  Then, I'd ride to Energy Systems class.  Prof. Uddin would lecture from 10:20 to 11:50 with one break in the middle.  A guest lecturer would come from 12:00-1:00pm.  The class would ride to the school cafeteria, and eat until 2:00.  

After lunch, we'd check email in the school computer lab.  Afternoon activities are usually done in small groups, such as exploring a museum in Pisa, taking a train to the beach, etc.  We'd meet up for dinner at 7:30 in the cafeteria, and do chores, study, or nap for a couple hours afterwards.  Everyone would meet up to get gelato and go out to a bar to drink and listen to music until 1:00am.  I'd get home, write in my diary, and get as much sleep as possible to get ready to do it again tomorrow.
