Welcome to my Germany photo album! If you didn't already know, I studied abroad in Germany in the summer of 2000. Our group consisted of 16 students from the University of Illinois and 17 students from other universities. The program was located at the Technical University of Darmstadt, a town about half an hour south of Frankfurt. I have included nearly all of the pictures from my real scrapbook in my online scrapbook, along with commentaries or explanations for most of the pictures. The pictures are in semi-chronological order, as I have tried to group some of them by subject. In order to ease the navigation of this web site and due to the large number of photos that I have (over 140!), I have thumbnailed them and broken them down into different categories. In each category I have also tried to add some information about either the content of the pictures, the study abroad program, or just Germans and Germany in general. You can either skip directly to a category, or use the navigational buttons at the bottom of each screen. E-mail me with any comments, and enjoy!
