Introduction

Studying abroad is one of the best decisions that I have made in my life. In the 7 months I spent in Germany, I had unimaginable experiences, met fantastic people, and learned many things that I will always remember. I participated in an internship with Mercedes-Benz truck division in Stuttgart, studied abroad in Munich, and traveled throughout Germany and Europe. The memories and experiences I have from my time abroad are simply unforgettable.

I went to Germany with many goals that I wanted to fulfill, such as learning about foreign cultures, gaining work experience, meeting new people, and most importantly increasing my fluency in the German language. Through my internship in Stuttgart and my studies in Munich, I have successfully fulfilled all of my goals. From the moment I stepped off the plane, I started experiencing new cultures. Through my internship, I have gained valuable work experience. I met some of the most incredible people and made lasting friendships. Through the entire trip, I gradually became more and more capable to understand spoken and written German. I am very grateful for the opportunity I was given to go to Germany and the only regret I have is that I wish I had spent more time abroad.
