Program Cost
This program is pretty well covered by the university. You pay the $1900 fee which covers airfare and hostel stay. It also covered a 100 EURO a week stipend for food while you are there. This covers decent meals and even some cafe or bar visits. You could survive fine without spending any additional money at all. Alcohol is very cheap in Vienna, wine especially but beware of expensive drinks at the bars. You can get train tickets to other major cities in neighboring countries for under $40. I went to Bratislava, Slovakia for about $12 round trip on the train. Overall I spent an additional $100 overseas. This included plenty of snacks and drinks and the trip to Slovakia. It also included going to the casino one night and also to the opera. Just be careful not to spend too much money shopping in Vienna. They have world famous stores that can be very expensive. Below is the sample budget provided by the Study Abroad Office which will cover all your needs overseas.
