This website is a journal of my semester in Vienna, Austria. I am an undergraduate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign studying computer engineering. Aside from computers I am also into the German language. That is why I decided to study in Vienna, of course.

From the beginning of February, 2005 to the beginning of July, 2005 I studied at the Technical University of Vienna. It was absolutely AMAZING. I still do not think I realize how awesome my experience over there was. When I was there I could hardly believe it, and now it seems even more incredible. I lived in a pseudo student dorm full of students from literally all over the world. I took computer science courses in German, and I learned more than I thought I could from a course in a foreign language. I also had the chance to travel to a handful of countries I had never visited before, and those experience I will never forget.

I tried to write a journal entry at least once a week while I was there, and sometimes I managed to write more often than that. This website holds a journal and pictures from my time studying in Vienna. You will laugh. You will cry! You will be amazed. All right, those are all pretty doubtful, but do enjoy my site.

As for the name the zwebsite, that is something that I am quite sure will only be funny to four or five people... ever. Last semester I got to work at a sweet company called Zebra Technologies. We joked that any product could become a Zebra product simply by adding a 'z' to its name. For example, if Zebra started making crackers they would be called zcrackers. So I, being the clever person I am, came up with the name zwebsite for my website. Now that you are thoroughly bored with this lame description, click on photos and check out what I am doing!!
