Life in Perth:
Perth is a city of one and a half million people in a state which totals two and a half million people. Often considered the most isolated city in the world, Perth is actually closer to Singapore than to Sydney. Being the largest state in Australia, Western Australia (often just called WA) is a third the size of the entire country of Australia while only supporting a tenth of the population. These factors support a lifestyle that's very casual and relaxed. Despite not being a very popular Australian tourist stop, Western Australia is the home to many of Australia's most spectacular beaches, gorges, and coral reef.

The city was founded along the swan river appropriately named for the many black swans that you find along its shore.

Cottesloe beach was one of many beaches in the Perth area where residents came to relax and surf at all times of the year

Australian-Rules Football also known as "footy" was a popular sport in all of Australia. This is a game between the West Coast Eagles and the Melbourne Demons in the Australian Football League.

The swan bell tower was a popular tourist attraction. During Midday, you can hear one of the concerts given each day.
