Apartment

Nishikawa Heights is the foreign housing apartment all visiting students and teachers stayed at. We were paired with a student from a different American school to room with. The apartment has a kitchen, two bedrooms, a shower and sink, bathroom, and study room. Everyone recieves a desk, closet, and futon.

Studying in the extra room. This room and the bed
room were with tatami flooring.

on the right of the river.

The kitchen came with pots and eating utencils. Originally the rooms weren't very clean, but this completely depends on the cleaning effort of students from the year before.

The building has six floors and was located across the river from KIT. It is a five minute walk to class. Every other floor had a free laundry room or TV lounge. They recommended not to drink the tap water so the lounge had a water filter for clean water.
