Hi, I am Scott Block. Welcome to my Japan web page. Thanks to IPENG (International Programs in Engineering), I was able to travel this summer with twelve other students from the University of Illinois to Hiroshima, Japan.  What I hope to do is give you a little glimpse into the BEST SUMMER I HAVE HAD TO DATE!!!  I traveled a lot and ate a lot of new and delicious foods.  I made a lot of new friends, and started to expand my horizons.  More than anything, I ended up just having lots of fun this summer.  This was my main reason for traveling abroad.  In particular, I wanted to enjoy the culture by going out and experiencing it as much as possible.  One thing I caught myself doing a lot was just wandering around with no particular destination in mind; enjoying what I saw and the people that I met.  Now it is hard to really explain all that happened, as it is now a nice big blur (the summer went too fast).  Well anyhow, I should introduce the twelve other dudes that helped enhance my summer.
