We were "fortunate" enough to see Mao's preserved body at Tiananmen. However, I have no pictures of him to show because of security reasons (and also because taking pictures of preserved people is sick). The Forbidden City is really huge, with plenty of ancient architecture and statues.
It was an icky, rainy day, which explains why Brian is holding an umbrella. This is in Tiananmen Square. The building in the background is the main entrance to the Forbidden City. If you look carefully, you can see a picture of Mao in the center.
