Traditional Teahouse and Peking Opera

Initially I thought the Teahouse and Opera would be really boring (the sound of sitting through an Opera puts me to sleep). However, the trip turned out to be better than I thought. We were seated at a traditional tea table and were served tea and some snacks. All the waitresses dressed up in traditional Chinese outfits too. The show started off with some instrumental piece, then moved on to perform a scene from the famous Monkey King story. There was also a magician and a contortionist too.
