Great Wall at Badaling

Badaling is probably the most heavily touristed section of the Great Wall. This part of the Wall has been reconstructed to allow visitors. The pictures that I took, however, are of parts that have not been restored.

This part of the Great Wall is actually in a forbidden area where visitors were not suppose to pass. A couple of us were adventurous enough to ignore that sign and get a couple shots of the more dangerous parts of the wall.

I carved my name on the Great Wall! I doubt I'll be able to find it again the next time I visit, but it was still fun at the time.
