Project timelines

These timelines are general guidelines to help you plan your projects. Please keep in mind that some projects may require additional time depending upon their scope and the Engineering Communications workflow.

Engineering Communications staff will work with you to develop a custom production timeline for your projects. "Rush" jobs may be accommodated but will be evaluated on a job-by-job basis.

General project timelines

•  Minor editing/minor copywriting - 3 weeks
•  Design - 3 weeks
•  Design approval/changes - 3 weeks
•  Photography - 3 weeks
•  Bids for printing - 1 week
•  Promo item production - 4 weeks
•  T-shirt printing - 3 weeks
•  Digital printing - 1 week
•  Offset printing - 2-3 weeks
•  Mailing - 1 week (if scheduled in advance)
