The mission of the Engineering Development Office is to support and advance the priorities of the College of Engineering by securing gifts and fostering ongoing constituent involvement. Goals Stewardship Provide a high level of customer service to all constituents. Continuously improve stewardship efforts. Constituent involvement Promote the reputation of the college by improving constituents' understanding of its goals, accomplishments, and services. As a gateway to the College of Engineering, provide a focus for COE outreach and communication. Build informative, positive relationships with all COE constituents. Fundraising Encourage and facilitate external support for the college and departments from individuals, corporations, associations, and foundations, especially for the priorities defined by the dean and department heads. Encourage new donor participation and increased giving levels. Internal relations In a shared, respectful understanding of the development process, provide proactive and timely communication, necessary data, and assistance to help achieve mutual goals. Collaborate closely with COE departments, UIF, and Campus Development. Continuously review, renew, and improve procedures and activities.
