Welcome to Engineering Outlook.

Engineering Outlook was first published as a newsletter in the early 1960s and evolved to a magazine format in 1986. Over the next few issues, Engineering Outlook will undergo changes intended to help readers become better informed about the research, scholarship, and accomplishments of distinguished faculty and students in the College of Engineering. The college has a rich tradition of solving critical problems of the day and generating the knowledge and expertise that shape the future. Engineering Outlook will tell just a few of these stories.

This website is published as a working prototype and will be offline periodically as new features are added and the design is improved. Your comments about this site are invited.

Engineering Outlook is available in print. Subscriptions are free. To place your name on our mailing list, request an address correction, respond to the Engineering History Project, express an opinion on topics, or suggest topics for future issues, please contact us.

College of Engineering alumni are encouraged to share their memories and anecdotes for the College of Engineering History Project. These stories are posted on the History & Reminiscence page.
