The Lois and Harlan Anderson Laboratory for Global Education in Engineering was established in May 1998 with a generous gift from University alumnus Harlan E. Anderson and his wife, Lois K. Anderson. This endowment is to be used for the development of educational materials and to conduct research in the application of technology to any place, any time education.

Additional support for the Anderson Lab is provided by the Ford Motor Company.
